Crafts and Fabrics - Montreal
Through the choice of the exhibited pieces, we have tried to show different traits of the Brazilian culture and traditions, through the handicrafts of three distinct origins:
- The Indian populations of the Pataxó (Patacho) tribe from the south of the state of Bahia,
- the Afro-Brazilian traditions that are expressed in particular in the Salvador de Bahia region,
- and finally the handicrafts of Minas Gerais, in the south-east of the country, where baroque art has flourished.
To prepare for summer, pretty Havaianas, for adults and children!
